I was born and raised in Kansas and fell in love with rock climbing when I was 14. Shortly after that, I bought my first camera. The art of storytelling has driven my life ever since.
I'm an award-winning photojournalist with photos and/or articles in The Denver Post, The Colorado Sun, Climbing magazine, Colorado Newsline and more. I graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in journalism and film and media production in December 2022. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Boulder and began freelancing.
I'm currently based in Juneau working as a Naturalist Photography Guide at Gastineau Guiding.
