I was born and raised in Kansas and fell in love with rock climbing when I was 14. Shortly after that, I bought my first camera. The art of storytelling has driven me ever since.
I graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in journalism and film and media production in December 2022. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Boulder to continue my photojournalism career.
My plans to remain in Colorado long-term were thwarted when I accepted a fell in love with Alaska while working as a naturalist photography guide.
