I was born and raised in Kansas and fell in love with rock climbing when I was 14. Shortly after that, I bought my first camera. The art of storytelling has driven me ever since.

I started freelancing while attending the University of Kansas, where I graduated with degrees in journalism and film and media production in December 2022. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Boulder to continue my photojournalism career. My plans to remain in Colorado long-term were thwarted when I accepted a seasonal job offer in Alaska and fell in love with the Last Frontier.

I'm currently back in Kansas for the holidays. I plan to return to Alaska as soon as possible.
