I was born and raised in Kansas and fell in love with rock climbing when I was 14. Shortly after that, I bought my first camera. The art of storytelling has driven my life ever since.

I started freelancing while attending the University of Kansas, where I graduated with degrees in journalism and film and media production in December 2022. Shortly thereafter, I moved to Boulder to continue my photojournalism career.

I'm currently based in Juneau working as a Naturalist Photography Guide at Gastineau Guiding.
