I'm a photojournalist and naturalist based in Juneau, Alaska. Born and raised in Kansas, I fell in love with rock climbing when I was 15. I bought a camera shortly thereafter and started spending every spare moment chasing the next adventure.

I graduated from the University of Kansas with degrees in journalism and film and media production. I spent a year freelancing in Colorado before accepting a seasonal position in Southeast Alaska. The last frontier sunk her teeth into me, and I became another seasonal-worker-turned-resident.

I'm currently working as a naturalist photography guide at Gastineau Guiding in Juneau.
